In a park approximately 1 ha in size, approximately 37,000 iris plants of approximately 300 varieties, such as Edo, Ise, and Higo, are planted. An iris festival is held there from the end of May to the beginning of June each year, which is visited by many locals. During this festival, the park is lit up from sunrise until 9:00 in the evening.
