    There are 450 varieties of marine life focusing on deep sea creatures living off the coast of Enshu. There are a total of 4,500 sea creatures on display. This aquarium is popular for its unique events and exhibitions.

    Takeshima Island

    The symbol of Gamagori, Takeshima Island, is connected to the land by a 387m long bridge and the entire island is designated as national natural monument. Yaotomi Shrine in the center of the island is one of the Seven Major Benzaiten Shrines in Japan. There is a walking path around the island where visitors can enjoy the scenery of both the sea and island.
