Honokuni Cuisine Course

Enjoy the great taste of the land and sea while traveling across Honokuni. Start off with some great tasting seafood at Laguna Gamagori. Then try some popular inarizushi or soba noodles at the Toyokawa Inari. Relax in a hot spring and enjoy skewered sweet rice cakes and glutinous rice with wild veggies afterwards in Shitara-cho. Don’t forget to get a famous local specialty product as a souvenir.

    Laguna Gamagori Fish Market

    Famous shops with great tasting products all in one place. In addition to fresh fish caught nearby, visitors can enjoy fruits and famous local specialty products as well as enjoy the tastes of Honokuni.

    Monzen Soba Noodles Yamahiko

    This popular restaurant has 100 years of history. It is famous for the popular inarizushi and soba noodles. We recommend the original handmade kishimen flat noodles and inarizushi combo.

    Hongunoyu Hot Springs

    These are the only natural hot springs in Toyokawa. They were renovated in 2012. Enjoy the amazing view day or night from the open-air bath.

    Michinoeki Aguri Station Nagura

    Enjoy the great taste of Oku Mikawa such as skewered sweet rice cakes. We recommend the combo meals. Locally grown crops and specialty products are also available.
